Afternoon
Seriously? Does this make us safer?

14:15 pm Etzion DCL: some 30 people waiting their turn. Inside, at the computers, only a single soldier attending (actually, not attending) to requests for both magnetic cards and permits.

14:25 pm:(following our call to the Humanitarian hot-point), about 10 people were admitted and there was an announcement that only requests for permits would be dealt with.

14:40 pm:One person emerged with his magnetic card, relating that he had arrived at 07:00, was waiting in the hall since 08:00, was admitted at 09:00 and was waiting inside until now: a total of 7 hours. Another person emerged with his magnetic card. Then: nothing. We called and complained.

15:50 pm:Three people came out with their magnetic cards.

15:55 pm:An announcement that the office was closing down (official closing time: 17:00). All the people waiting were sent home. Some 15 remained inside.

16:40 pm:The soldier inside hurried up and now people were exiting at an advanced pace, merely 5 minutes apart. Had this been the pace before, none would have had to repeat their "visit".
