Morning

6:00 AM, Bethlehem - CP 300:  much activity at the CP. Five booths operating, people streaming out. Smiles and well-wishes, hope for many such days.

At 7:00 AM  there were barely any passers-through left behind

This was the first time I had seen so many taxis waiting at the CP, probably in response to demand.

We headed to the "Lieberman road". There were soldiers at the vehicle barrier. Driving towards the village we noticed a change – right at the middle a new alternative road had been constructed running to the right. Along the course of the old road a security road was constructed. The pedestrian passage is in a building at the out start of the road. When we stopped before the CP to study the map posted there, a group of soldiers approached us, inquired, and wished us a safe journey.
