Hebron

Michal asked us to be at the checkpoint at Curve 160 to see when the young man arrived who was arrested and handcuffed the day before yesterday (See report by Yehudit and Michal). On the way there Mohammed from "Yesh Din" called us to arrange for us to arrive there together with the young man and his mother. When we got there they had not arrived and we did not succeed in speaking to either the young man or Mohammed.  There were also no soldiers there from the border patrol.  We continued on our shift to Tarpat and Tel Romeida where there were a lot of children in the streets and a lot of pedestrians.

When we returned to Curve 160 the young man's mother waved to us and they presented the summons they had received.  The soldiers from Givati who were there had no idea of what was going on and told us to go to the police since there were no Border Patrol soldiers there.  We called Faraj, the brigade commander from the Border Patrol.  He was busy with a house demoliltion in the south and postponed the summons until tomorrow at 09:00, but we would not be on shift at that time. We attempted to arrange for someone from "Yesh Din" to be there instead.

There was a group of diplomats near the Cave of the Patriarchs being led on a tour by Eyal from "Shovrim Shtika" (Breaking the Silence)  Several meters from them Noam Federman is leading another group with an armed guard.

There is a sign near the entrance to Kiryat Arba that says: "Judea and Samaria, The Story of Every Jew".
