Generally speaking: yesterday there was a terrorist attack in Jerusalem.

There were only a few people when we arrived, perhaps due to yesterday's attack. Only one corridor was open, later closed and another opened instead, causing the line to reverse, those in front now at the end of the line.
Although there are not many people, crossing takes c. 15 minutes.
Wadi Nar
One car on the right, another on the left, are detained. Most vehicles cross unchecked.
When we approached the checkpoint two of the security forces came up to us and the argument so often rehearsed in the past took place: don't stand here, don't come any closer, it's not written that you're allowed, we are responsible for you safety... The "conversation" continued and meanwhile the vehicles were released to continue on their way, and so we too decided to be on our way.
