Morning

7:00 am, Bethlehem – Checkpoint 300:  we get positive vibes from the workers standing outside. Inside five windows are open, the passing is quick and smooth. Last week we reported the same and this continued throughout the week, exclusive of Fridays.

7:45 am, Hussan:  we deliver a petition to someone from Hussan. He will have to submit this himself on the day reserved for his village.

8:05 am, Etzion DCL: doors open as we arrive. Numbers are registered by the Palestinians themselves. This morning there are 77. Some of them have been waiting outside in the cold since 6:00 am. The going is slow.

8:30 am, the first women enter

9:30 am, the women who entered first - 5 in all - come out with their cards renewed.

9:40 am, the second group is called in and we leave.
