Morning

07.00 am, Bethlehem - Checkpoint 300: there are four inspection stations open with only a few people waiting at each of them, but there is heavy traffic of those coming out. They tell us that today it took them between an hour to one-and-a-half hours to cross, and that there is still pressure on the Palestinian side.

07.30  am, Hussan: police-cars  stand at the side of the round-about and distribute traffic reports.

07.45 am,  Al Nashshash: the driver of a truck full of vegetable cases gets a report because, in the policeman's opinion, the truck's canvas cover is insufficient.  Chia photographs the truck.

08.40 am, Beit Ummar: no activity.

09.00  am, Nabi Yunis: no activity

09.30 am:  on our way back the police-men  stop and inspect cars on Road No 60 opposite Kerem Tsur. Eight cars are standing there. Maybe they are cars coming from Harrawa where there is no left turn and drivers must continue to the round-about at Nabi Yunis and turn-around there.

09.40 am, Etzion DCL: about thirty cars are parked in front of the DCL. Tens of people are waiting inside, and  there is a lot of pressure because the DCL was closed for several days. There is no (organized) queue and the people are crowded and and angry.
