Morning

Translation: Hanna K.

Azzun Atma, 06:30
This morning the sleeveinfo-icon is more crowded with workmen than usually.
The queue moves forward slowly. Especially old workmen pass the gate without having to stand in the queue and approach the checking booth on the other side. They cause delay for the others.

The soldiers are not friendly.
The only one who gets and exemption from standing in the queue – is a donkey, loaded excessively with cauliflowers.

Between the fences sits a detainee. He says that he has a permit and doesn't understand why he is detained. The soldiers don't volunteer any information and wave us on to move away from the fence.

The workmen who underwent the checking say that they had to wait between forty minutes and an hour.

A Palestinian tender car approaches the fence and after his papers are checked the driver is allowed to enter the village.
