Afternoon

DCO Ezyon, 15:00. The parking lot is fuller than usual, as is the waiting room inside. Many (over 20) are crowding the turnstiles, which they claim have not turned for 2 hours. We call inside, and after several failed efforts find someone willing to hear us, and the turnstile slowly lets in 4 people at a time. Apparently the delay was due to the printers failing -- but of course nobody bothered to explain to the docile waiting crowd.
We extract a promise that all those at the DCO will be allowed in, and eventually so they are. But those exiting report that the crowd simply moved from the waiting room outside to waiting inside, with the   booths largely unmanned. Still, there is now nobody in the waiting room, and we leave.

Bethlehem CP, 16:30. No crowds, just laborers pouring out of their transportation and into the CP, to emerge less than a moment after on the Palestinian side.
