Morning

09:00-10:30 AM, Bethlehem - Checkpoint 300: an uneventful shift.  Three stations open, people crossing relatively fast, rarely asked to place a hand on the machine.  No line. From the Bethlehem side too, no harsh sounds. A man of c. 50 comes up to tell us that his son is not eligible for a magnetic card because of a traffic ticket the father had failed to pay.  We give him Haya A.'s phone number; she could help by checking the sum of the debt so that he can pay, and the sins of the fathers will not be visited upon the sons by our enlightened army.
