Etzion DCL:  The Unseen Occupation.

Today the DCL was empty - not even anyone waiting for Shabak interrogation. Silence...

After a few moments wait someone did come out from Shabak investigation: he said that only he and one other were there. He arrived at noon and was called straight in - the interrogation was routine...

We met an acquaintance married to a woman from Beersheba, who complained that this time his permit was only for a week with no sleep over (his wife and son are ill, and he hadn't submitted a request for family union on humanitarian grounds)... The DCL was well aware of the case and told us to look at the papers that the man had submitted.. They were from April, and the DCL wants up-to-date documents. We recommended that he sees to it...

Beit Ummar: at Beit Ummar there is army in the village almost every day, but we didn't enter or see them...
