Meitar crossing

Because of the Ramadan fast, we decided this time to focus on what's happening at the Meitar crossing.  We wanted to see whether any consideration is being given to the laborers' special needs during the period of the fast.

We arrived at the time laborers were returning from work.  We were glad to hear from them, and to see with our own eyes, that they're crossing quickly, without unnecessary delay.  They return from Israel to the territories without being inspected.

They said it was more crowded this morning, and the usual inspections are carried out, but everyone goes through in 15-20 minutes.

It's good to see that here, at least, despite everything, the authorities are being considerate.
