Morning

08:00 -09:00 Shaked-Tura checkpoint
The gate opened on time. 14 people wait on the other side of the fence together with one car and a herd of sheep. From the SeamLine zone came one person, later a few more had arrived and two cars. One man's passage permit had expired and he wasn't let into the SeamLine zone.
Passage was swift because there were three representatives of the DCO on site.

09:10 - 10:30 Rihan-Barta'a checkpoint
A vegetables truck and another one loaded with wood pallets waited for inspection.
At the upper vehicles checkpoint waited four privet cars on their way to the West Bank. Inspection for each vehicle lasted 10-15 minutes.
Five cars awaited passage into the SeamLine zone, and drove into the inspection area together with the trucks.

Drivers sat idleky at the Palestinian car park. Within more than an hour, only three taxis drove away and they weren't full of passengers.
E. told me that the person who was injured in a work related accident in Barta'a on Thursday 19/8 (see related report), is hospitalized, in a coma, at the hospital in Jenin. E. had read about it in a Palestinian newspaper.
