Morning

07:00 AM, Bethlehem- Checkpoint 300: four positions are open, nobody in front of them. The Palestinians say that passage today is okay: “If only every day...”, one man said.

07:20 AM, Hussan: work on widening the road. There will be a crossing under Route 60. A driver told us that Palestinians will not be allowed at all to travel on 60. The route to Hebron will pass from el Hader to Beit Sahur, and then via Sair.

07:40 AM, Al Nashshash

08:00 AM, Etzion DCL: almost no one waiting for us.

08:30 AM, Beit Ummar: a number of people waiting for us with different problems.

09:00 AM, Nabi Yunis: here too were only a few people waiting for us.

The road to Sair is closed. People are working there. Are they alsobuilding an underground passage? Not clear. It seems that the objective is thatRoute 60 will be totally unusable by Palestinians.
