A calm shift.

As soon as we parked, a border-police jeep arrived,  The usual "you're obstructing traffic, move your car" followed. The car moved 20 cm. 

 

The metal barriers marking the checkpoint from the direction of Jabel Mukhaber have been shifted to enlarge the defined area at the expense of the road.  No visible reason for this change can be observed.

A routine line at the checkpoint: children cross without waiting in line, adults receive orders on the loudspeaker.  We are greeted with the music of the soldiers whose lyrics would best be left unspoken.
