The occupation routine and one definitely unpleasant event, near Avney Hefetz

The car advances through a screen of heavy rains, since we entered the Palestinian area until we reached Huwwara It seems that the fixtures which the army put up on the roads serve as excellent stands for the propaganda signposts of the settlers.

14:10 – Through the pouring rain we discern that the entrance to Zeita is still blocked.
On both sides of the closed gate there are several cars.

Za'tara Junction

About 20 vehicles from the direction of Huwwara are waiting at the entrance to the junction.
Big orange signposts decorate the fence that surrounds the junction, and on them is written in enormous letters: We and participate in the settlement at the tomb of Josef.

Huwwara  15:00 –
In the middle of  the entrance road to Nablus there is a new traffic island. Near the southern post at the entrance there are soldiers, but the vehicles, also those with yellow number plates, enter the town without hindrance. Most vehicles also leave town without detention, but a minibus and a taxi are detained for the checking of papers.
