Afternoon

Natanya tanslating

The evening of the day to mark the day of human rights.

12.10 Shomron crossing.
Building taking place with the utmost efforts. A new wall on the north side.

12.25 The entrance to Zeita and Jammaien is most thoroughly closed as has been for the last two years with one day less.

12.27 Za'tara (Tapuach)
When we arrived the checkpoint was empty. But while going round the circle in the middle is a Chanukah lamp and also a manned post. 12 cars going to Nablus.  2 command cars stand near the checkpoint next to the village of Za'tara.

12.45 Huwwara.
No pressure next to the checking areas. The shift of soldiers is changing.

There is much traffic. Only one post is manned and there is more checking of cars than usual. As soon as one car and the IDs of the young people has been checked another is stopped. But today the flow of cars is not stopped as those being checked stand at the side. A group of young people are told to get out of a van and to stand with their backs to the soldier while the car is being checked.  They use this time for natural needs.
