'Azzun 'Atma

6:40  Construction workers heading to work nearby in Alfei Menashe wait between half an hour and an hour for their ride, for which they have to pay even though it’s only a ten-minute walk.  Schoolchildren living east of the main road cross without benefit of a pedestrian crossing, through dangerous traffic, to enter 'Azzun 'Atma and three adjacent localities.

The gate to the village is closed at night.  None of these villages has a hospital.  If someone needs a physician at night, or a woman has to give birth, the soldiers are asked to open the gate.
