'Anabta, Irtah (Sha'ar Efrayim), Te'enim Crossing, Mon 7.12.09, Afternoon
Big signboards at the main junctions invite us on Wednesday to break the building freeze. The sky is black and a heavy rain pours down.
16:20 The checking posts are empty. The passage is completely free.
The Fig passage
16:30 One car waits to pass. There are no queue. We cross over the Fig passage, while in front of us bright blue skies open up. How symbolic this is.
There are no delays. People come and enter immediately. The entrance door is partly closed so that it is difficult to see what goes on inside. We are told that there is only one checking window open. There are not many workmen, probably because of the rain.
Two busses arrive. A queue developes but it dissolves quickly.
