Afternoon

Natanya translating.

14.30 Crossroads of Za'tara.
40 cars are waiting/crawling along two checking areas. We phoned the centre, they said that they would deal with it.

14.40  Huwwara
As soon as we arrive a soldier comes up and tells us not to pass the building nearest to the sentry tower.
There was no problem to see the cars on both sides. As soon as we arrived we heard loud cries from the loudspeaker in Arabic. "Go. Go away from here." Again and again but we didn't know at whom this was aimed. The cars passed with hardly any delay. Now and again the soldiers stopped a car to ask a few questions and send it on its way.

15.15 Beit Furik.  Abandoned. The soldiers wandered around on the one side of the road.

15.30 Huwwara. The same picture. Cars go past and are randomly checked. A loaded van was sent to Awarta.

15.50 Za'tara
Again a line of 40 cars moving slowly in the direction of the checkpoint. When we looked in the direction of the checkpoint we saw that only a few cars were checked and that only for a few minutes. .

15.50 Azzun Atma. Two soldiers and a woman soldier checking IDs of the workers coming home. Usually politely.
