Afternoon

It was an uneventful and boring shift, better this way!

A car that was parked at the entrance to Sheikh Saed, awaiting passengers coming home from work, annoyed the soldiers at the CP. They demanded that the car moves aside before they let the people enter the CP. Why? "Because it blocks our view and endangers us, may be there is a sniper behind it?"

At the Olive Terminal no one came in or out, there was no point in stopping there.

At Wadi Nar the cars in all directions went through undisturbed. There was no line any where and no car was stopped for inspection. Is this a special consideration of the Palestinians because of Ramadan? Or is it the promises made to President Obama?

In contrast to what was said above, one can see from afar the vast expanse of the settlement Kedar. Not only the new houses which are being completed, but a whole new infrastructure being prepared for a new big neighborhood!
