Wadi Nar

We drove via Maale Adumim to the Wadi Nar CP. On the way we entered Kedar and drove through its streets seeing the newly built neighborhood at the entrance to the settlement (Freezing the development?).

On the road to Kedar heavy machinery is working, straightening a curve to make the approach to this settlement smoother.
At the container (Wadi Nar) we were not allowed to pass through the military zone and had to walk on the road. It was very hot and the cars were passing undisturbed. We felt sorry for the soldiers who had to weare their heavy bullet proof vests and carry their weapons 

From the industrial zone of Mishor Adumim we could see the large building movement at the eastern part of Maale Adumim. We also spotted a large number of cars with Palestinian number plates at the entrance to the industrial zone. Probably the cars of the workers who are not allowed to drive them all the way to their working place.

We climbed the road  up to Meveseret Adumim, nothing new there in spite of the promises of the Minister Eli Yishay.

We returned via Mount Scopus and joined the Peace Now demonstration in front of the Sheppard Hotel.
