Afternoon

14:30 PM, Etzion DCL:   more people than usual (about 2 dozen). A young man tells us he can't get a magnetic card -- because he lost an eye in an encounter with the IDF. He has a job in Beitar. We suggested he contact Sylvia for assistance.

A young woman from Beit Sahur says she came on Thursday (the day for her village), and was told  to cometoday.  Now they tell her today is Beit Jallah day. She has 2 little kids, and the back and forth is hard on her.

The line within, say the people in it, hardly moves.  We call the officer, he arrives, and things begin to move. By 15:30 PM, the waiting room is empty.  Surely the people who came from the "wrong" village could have been helped today?
