Morning

07:00  Sheikh Saed

The checkpoint was quiet, the sparse traffic flowing.

08:00  The Pishpash

We decided to stop here in order to observe the work of moving the wall.  When we were about to cross the checkpoint the soldiers stopped us, saying only those registered were allowed to cross.

We began a round of phone calls, as did the soldiers, and indeed within a few minutes the area commander arrived and repeated what the soldiers had said, but at the same time our appeals reached his communications system,  and he said that if we got hold of a permit there would be no problem.  Half an hour later the permit had still not arrived, and we continued on our way -- but will pursue the matter further after our shift.

09:00  Zeitim Crossing

We crossed the checkpoint.  The few persons there crossed without delays through one of the two open corridors (not including the DCO corridor which was also open).
