Morning

06:20  ‘Azzun.  A few Palestinians are passing through the chain-link sleeveinfo-icon. There are two soldiers, one inspecting and the other providing security.  From time to time one of the Palestinians is sent to the window of the concrete building.  A female soldier is already sitting there, checking ID’s on the computer.

We assume that traffic is light because of Tish’a B’Av.  Most of the Palestinians work in the nearby settlements and their employers must be in synagogue.

We bought our first figs of the season in the improvised parking lot.
