‘Azzun ‘Atma
07:20  On the other side of the checkpoint there are about 10 Palestinians sitting, waiting for their employers. The checkpoint is empty.  One soldier and one female soldier are sitting in the hut.  The soldier looks tired, red-eyed.  Both of them are lucky that there are no people at the checkpoint, since they checked everyone going out very quickly.  A small child, about 5 or 6, goes through the checkpoint.  He pays no attention to the soldiers, as they pay none to him.  No one else went through the checkpoint for the 10 minutes we stayed there.
