Morning

07:00 Bethlehem - Checkpoint 300: five open positions. The Palestinians say it’s working fine this morning, with no one waiting outside.

07:30 Husan:

07:40 AL Nashshash: soldiers in the square and traffic flowing.

08:15 Etzion DCL: twelve people waiting for service.

08:30 Beit Ummar:  approaches to us with police problems.

09:00 Nabi Yunis:  here too various problems to clarify.

10:00 Etzion DCL:   fifteen people waiting. One man asks our assistance. His son is arrested in his home near Moshav Aderet by Border Police because they saw somebody on the Seam Line fence whose  black clothes were similar to the son’s clothes. The son had been working in the fields with the father who had sent him home. The son is still under arrest and, until the investigation is concluded  there is nothing to do.Maher, the policeman, says that the computer has not been working from 08:30 to 10:00, and  later he does not answer the phone any more. The new police notice, only in Arabic, says that reception hours are 09:00-17:00 on Sundays to Thursdays: from our experience, there is no morning service on Sundays.
