Beitar, Bethlehem, Etzion DCL, Tue 16.6.09, Afternoon

Illit R., Ofra E., Yael L.-J. (reporting). Avital F. (driving)

2:40 PM, Etzion DCL: there was only one Palestinian man waiting. He told us  that he was ordered to speak to a (blue) policeman who never would be in his office. Illit was asking the offiial at the counter for this policeman. He was calling him and the policeman was appearing immediatly.

Some men came to get a new  magnetic card. They were disappearing in the offices. After there was nobody around, we left.

3:15 PM, Beitar:  except us nobody was passing at this time.

3:50 PM, Bethllehem - Checkpoint 300:  we were arriving at 3:50 pm. 4 counters were open. At the beginning that was enough, but later about 4,15 pm a crowd was storming the counters and each had long queues. The blue police officer explained to us that the digital system of more counters did not work. 2 Civil guards were ordering the queues.
