15.40 When we went through Shaar Shomron we saw a white van on the side of the road and next to it Palestinians who it seemed were returning from Israel...detainees.
15.45 Azzun Atma. Workers come home from their work on the settlements. Sometimes a line forms and disappears. We did not see detainees. An army jeep arrives, goes through the gate and parks near the entrance until we go. We were not allowed to photograph the soldiers and were allowed to enter the village. "Here is Israel and there is Israel," says the soldier. We did not agree with his words. We went to the grocery shop and to the café. Here also a closure both yesterday and today...the Independence holiday of Israel.
