Morning

7:00-7:30  No workers
waiting at the Eliyahu Gate on our way; the quarantine has already begun.
Israeli flags are already waving at the entrances to the settlements.
And, as usual, the feeling that our holiday is a hard day for them.

The commander of the barrels
checkpoint receives us nicely and even offers us a drink which we politely
refuse.  Traffic is light and people go through almost freely;
there’s an occasional inspection and passengers are asked to show
IDs.  The inspection is usually over in a few minutes.  No
lines of vehicles form.  We stood there half an hour and drove
on.
