Beit Ummar, Bethlehem, Wed 8.4.09, Morning

Bethlehem Checkpoins:  today is Passover evening, and there is a complete curfew over the whole of the West Bank.   The entry passageways are open but the traffic through them is very sparse and only for special purposes. We visit the owner of the grocery in Beit Ummar, and to his and our joy the look-out post that was positioned by the army on his roof has been removed about ten days ago. He thanks us very much - us and everyone who has been involved in the matter.
