Morning

Translation: Marganit W.

Judge: Sebastian Osovsky

Police Investigator: Manor Milham

Defense: Hader Rabias

There was only one detainee at the hearing:

Muhammad Walid Salah Muhsen  - ID 407329721

He is 18 years old, suspected of throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails.

The police requests 10 additional days to complete the investigation.

There is agreement between the sides on remand extension until Sunday, then transferring the case to the prosecution.

After conferring with his attorney, the detainee asks to address the court. With tears in his eyes he says that he has not been allowed to take a hot shower for 13 days. In addition, a guard has used violence against him (putting a foot on his chest and throwing him forcefully into his cell).

The judge’s decision:

He shortens the remand until Thursday and orders the case to be transferred to the prosecution.

The investigator tries to object, but the judge is adamant, adding; “I heard the complaint about hygiene, lack of hot showers and maltreatment by prison guards.”

A copy of the decision will be given to the facility commander to rectify the situation.
