There were seven files in the docket, 5 of them were connected to one incident. They were heard behind closed doors and there’s a gag order on publicizing them. According to Atty. Deibas the gag is in effect until 17.12.19.

We attended the hearing of one detainee:

Hassan Ziad Hassan Awad – ID 403886112

Awad was born on 25.7.1998 and resides in the village of Adana.

He is suspected of: membership, activity, services and trading in combat materiel, all in connection with a hostile organization.

He was brought in from administrative detention to continue his interrogation at the Russian Compound.

This is his third remand extension.

The investigator requested a 12-day remand to complete the investigation.

The defense’s questions were mostly answered with referral to the secret file. The investigators allege that the violations were committed in recent months while the suspect was under administrative detention!!! As to how the violations were done, the defense is referred to the secret file.

The interrogations were carried out in Ashkelon. According to the defense, they were intensive and lasted about 20 hours a day.

Defense summation: After failed attempts to tie the detainee to the charges, the detainee has been transferred to the Russian Compound where the investigators hope to extract an admission from him, so far unsuccessfully.

Judge’s decision:

After examining the secret material in the file, the judge allows the investigation to continue in order to clarify the allegation.

Remand extension for 7 additional days.
