Maqam Nabi Noun (or Nabi Yinon on maps)
The name Nabi Nun is attributed according to Islam to the Prophet Jonah.
It is found in the Nabi Yanon Reserve on the lands of the village of Yanon near the town of Akbara.
On one side of the not-very-large room, we saw a connection to a deep pit from which steam was coming out.
It is possible that the pit reaches up to a hot water source located deep in the earth.
Palestinian access to the site is limited due to harassment by members of the subsidiary outposts of the Itamar settlement.
