מאז 2001 אנו משקיפות מדי יום בעשרות מחסומי צה"ל הנמצאים בתוך הגדה, בבקעת הירדן, על גדר ההפרדה, בכבישים ראשיים ובדרכי עפר צדדיות; במשרדי המינהל האזרחי (מת"קים) שם מונפקים לפלסטינים אישורים שונים; בבתי משפט צבאיים בדיונים של עצירים פלסטינים. הצוות שלנו שוהה במחסום ככל הנדרש ועוקב אחרי התנהלות החיילים והפלסטינים, ללא הפרעה. לעיתים, לנוכח יחס בוטה וקשה אל הפלסטינים, יש ואנו מנסות להתערב באמצעות פנייה ישירה אל החיילים או בטלפון למפקדיהם. הדוחות מהתצפיות מתפרסמים באתר זה בעברית ובאנגלית.

We drove on Highway 5 toward Za’tara. Palestinian and Israeli trucks in the parking lot
transferred merchandise back-to-back. Cars are being inspected at the checkpoint and a
line of a few vehicles had formed. On our way back we saw that taxi passengers had to
get out for inspection.
Many shoppers in Huwwara, preparing for Ramadan. No military traffic, no inspections
at the checkpoint; cars drove through freely.
The women awaited us at Hars; we taught English to two groups and knitting to one.
At the end we all had a little party for Ramadan with candy we’d brought.
We arranged to come next week and see whether we could hold classes during Ramadan.
